Re-new after Expired EP

Hi,
My EP has been expired on 23 December 2017 (including 1 month special pass), then I have been back to my country on time.

Now my Company where I worked in Malaysia, they want to again join with them with EP.

So, my question is, what is my EP procedure by the company ? Is applying for renew or as a fresh EP ?

Point to noted that last time after submit all documents to MDEC, I lost my educational certificate.

So, exparts can you please give me suggestion what I do? Now Im at another country, for that I cannot collect another copy of my certificate from my own country.
