Used Car buying tips

Post new topic

neufmartial

Hi All,

Can anyone give me some tips on buying a used car in KL? Should I go with the dealer or buy it directly from the owner?

I am planning to buy second hand car in KL. Can anyone direct me to some good and reliable dealers in KL?

I searched everywhere but cannot find a good and trustworthy dealer.

So it would be really great if anyone who has experience with the car dealers in KL can shed some light.

I am not looking for expensive cars, and my budget would be around 20k RM.

Thanks,
Dinesh

City Motors in Bangsar is reputable. It's just down the road from Bangsar Village shopping mall

The ExpatCarGuys have used vehicles I think too

The April 2018 Volume 247 magazine called The Expat has two articles about driving. It's available online.

Here's a link to the magazine mentioned above.

@Gravitas... Thank you for your reply and sharing the link.

Is there any suggestion on which car model should I go for? If proton or perodua, then how many years old car should I go for? I heard anything 5-6 years older car is useless to look for.

Perodua have a new vehicle with very high spec equal to overseas standards. It's called the Bezza.
