Has anyone ever stayed here and have any information?  My company will be having me stay here a month in July and the hotel website is only in arabic.

I never heard of it, can you post the link you spoke of?

Thank you for the reassurances.  My needs are very simple and my company had someone stay there before last year, but I always like to do research about places I am staying at and this one has so little information available!

I will try and call with skype when I am at home but could I ask one small question about their amenities.  Does the website say if they offer internet access?

Salman Omrani

yes they mentioned they have internet service, you just have to contact the customer service.

don't worry, there usually are people around to can manage an english speaking customer.

Salman Omrani

but feel free to get in touch if you ever feel like it.

MoAli79.. I have stayed in Syahya quite frequently .. since it is right next to my office . It is basically in the same complex housing the Faisaliah Mall and the Tower.

The rooms are quite good and maintained.. normal room has afull bathroom plus a kitchen with stove and fridge. Suites have a separate living room .. TV channels are limited.. but better than other furnished apartments.. Room service ( food ) is served around the clock.. menu us quite reasonably priced and food is good..

WiFi sucks.. i have lived in like 5 different rooms at various locations.. none get a signal beyound Poor.. your best bet it is to sit in the lobby downstairs if you want to use inet..

The day time receptionist speak very little English.. night time guys are very fluent.. either way .. if you have any problem .. bell boy and other staff is hindi/urdu speaking.. you can use them as your translator :P
