Change from living in Zimbabwe to Ghana

I currently live in Zimbabwe and my boyfriend in Nigeria. He is Nigerian but studied in Ghana for 12 years a while back. We are vacationing for a week in December in Ghana and want to get married there and eventually settle there......after some months. What will it entail for us to do this?

I'm not sure if you can get married here if one of you is not Ghanaian but it might be possible if you have all the necessary documentation. It is possible to marry in a week as we did it in 2010. You lodge your application one day and marry the next. Look on the Government information website to see if you can find more information

Even though it didn't apply to us, it seems to say you need to give 21 days notice if you want to get married here. Not sure how you supply the documents if you are out of the country
