Dear expats,

I am a german medical student going to work at the SSRN hospital for 8 weeks from November to January.

As I am going there on my own, I would love to meet other young expats to hang out with. I might stay somewhere in-between the region of Grand Baie and Trou aux Biches (haven't found a place yet).

Looking forward to hear from you and to get some advice!!

See you,
Diana

Have you managed to find a place to stay?

I'm also in the north.

Dear Diana,

there are lots of expats in Mauritius so you will find it easy to meet people.

Many tend to mingle however with people from the same nationality.

Try Cafe Müller in Grand Baie, full of Germans, many of whom lived here already for 15 years and more.

Hi fellow Diana,
I just moved here from the US, I'm based in Flic en Flac. I'm working on a project here for 9 months. Would love to meet up or answer any questions.
