Skilled worker visa, Norway

Hi @Ra11 and @chloeNg83, I also applied for skilled worker visa on late november of 2022, still haven't received any response from them. Did you got your visa?

My employer has applied for a work permit in the month of Nov 2022. My application is still in progress. Does any one have an idea if we can fast process it or any idea how to contact the UDI?

It has been 3 months already and in general can we see if an case officer is assigned to an application?

Any leads is highly apperciated.

I am starting to worry if my employer will still push my employment. I am supposed to start this April 1..

@Lian Chan I am in the same ship as yours. In my case, the employer had affiliation with agency in norway and hence they applied on my behalf on the Jan 25th 2023, and I have received the very same response that you mentioned. My starting date is 1st March and I am not sure when I'll get the work permit. Please do keep us posted if you hear any good news. Thanks!

@Grim Reaper There is no update mail from UDI, just automatic mail like your application is waiting to be process and then they will send result

My application for the residence permit was approved today! I submitted my application on the portal on the 30th of January, handed in my documents on the 13th of February and the application was approved today on the 10th of March! In total, it took exactly 5 weeks to get the application approved! I applied at the Norwegian embassy in Stockholm, Sweden! Good luck to all others.

Hi, I have applied for skilled worker and family reunification VISA on Apr. 12, 2023. Granted on May 9, 2023 by email from UDI.

Actually before that I also received a confirmation email from UDI as they have received my application as well as giving the DUF number.

Anyway I applied from Indonesia via VFS to Bangkok Embassy.

I applied on 4th of May, and VFS Global sent me a message saying that my application is being forwarded to Embassy of Norway, London. And I haven't gotten anything since then. How long does it to get my passport back?
