Congratulations on your marriage!

I am afraid that I can offer little advice other than this.

In Tanzania a man can not be classified as a dependent on your wife, (ask me how I know...). So you will need a work visa. Otherwise you will need another, different type which might mean that you will need to leave this wonderful country every 90 days, (again, ask me how I know...).

If I remember correctly, and I might be wrong on this, you can apply to become a Tanzanian national, but you would be required to renounce your Nigerian nationality. No dual-nationality here. Again, please be advised this I am not too sure about and could be wrong. No doubt others will be along to offer further advice.

Seeking out good legal advice would be strongly recommended. But, as I have been told many times by government employees at present the relevant laws are in a constant state of flux and these staff are unsure as to what has, or is, changing.

Good luck!
