The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has launched an electronic arrival card for foreign visitors to Singapore, and started a three-month trial for the card from Thursday (4 October, 2018, TODAY) at most of the air, land and sea checkpoints.

This card will eventually replace the paper-based disembarkation/embarkation version, which visitors are currently required to submit on arrival.

Now, travellers can submit their personal information and trip details through the ICA website or via a mobile application before arriving in Singapore. Once they have done so, they will only need to produce their passports for immigration clearance upon arrival.

The electronic arrival card will be made available in various foreign languages. Visitors travelling with their families or in small groups will also have the option of making a one-time group submission, whereby the trip information will be automatically replicated for all persons in the group.

The mobile application will allow travellers to save the information submitted from previous trips for use for their next trip to Singapore.

The electronic arrival card will enhance operational efficiency and save up to 48 million paper-based disembarkation/embarkation cards a year.

Did you read the message? It was saying about tourists who are visiting Singapore, not work pass employee.
