I had a interview in South Africa with a mining company from KSA, and were invited for a second interview, they said they will let me know through my agent, it is almost 2 months later now, all the agent keep on saying is they are still busy with the first bunch that must fly, then they will start with the next bunch (me and another guy). Can this really take so much time? Dont they rather want to fly everybody at once? We have no idea who else to contact regarding this. Apparently the second interview will be via skype?

Yes it can. Depending on how the agency corresponds to the company here in Riyadh. Companies here too but have their own delay in employing, going through immigration employment procedures or the amount of workers they need at a specific time frame.

When it comes to employment there are tons of factors in play on how fast and slow procedures can be. I say be patient and continually be in contact with your agency.
