Daily commute in Sierre - Valais-Wallis

I will be moving to Sierre Switzerland in a week or two for employment purpose. In case I was wondering how is the situation for train/bus passes in Valais-Wallis region? Can one get a yearly train pass for the entire canton? I will be really grateful for the answer.
