Hello everyone. First time poster. I'm Tony. I'm looking into moving aboard for upwards of a year.

I have $850 for life, per month. I'm looking for advice on how to make this move successful long term.

Will immigration have an issue with my extending my visa for over a year?
How much does it cost?

Thank you all.

depending on where you want to live, assume around $350 rent for a full apartment and up depending on quality and appliances.
what are you planning on doing here? working?

stamp cost for a 1 year visa costs around $150 usd, you still need to leave every 3 months though. if you're not planning on working be prepared for a very simple life as $850 won't be enough to pay rent, electricity, internet, and have a decent social life. unless you just want to rent a shitty room with a shared bathroom which you can definitely get for $150 a month.

goodluck with your move!
