Hi there,

I have a 3 year old daughter and we will be moving to Mauritius from South Africa, in June. I am looking for an english pre-primary school around the Moka area, except for Clavis.
We will move to the north (Grand Baie) next year and she will then go to Lighthouse Primary school.

Any suggestions will help enormously!

Thx

Hi there,

If you are living in the north can she not go to pre primary in grand baie area? There are two excellent pre primaries here, Martinecollete in Pereybere and il d'ozenfants(sp?) a Montessori  one in Pont aux Connaniers. My three year old is there and is very happy, will get number for you and post don't have it handy

Kind regards
Andi Chadwick

Hi Andi,

Thanks so much!
Will definitely be in contact for a play date!
I read about 2 schools in Floreal, Teddy Bear and the other is Step Ahead in Quatre Bornes, will go and visit them when I'm there.

Kind Regards

What is the cost of schooling for a toddler just over 1 year old?

Hi Evestyles,

My daughter is three and I pay Rps 2000 a month for private Montessori school, imagine the same for one year old...

I can suggest St Nicholas Pre-Primary School or Mauritian Pre Primary School of Moka (Government School) at St Pierre.
Hope my suggestion will help

Hi Andi,

I am also looking for a school for my 3 year old and I was wondering if the Montessori school you mentioned was bilingual or exclusively French?

Many thanks
Talitha
