Hi everyone

I hope you are all well,

I have been shortlisted for a CTO role in Dubai, the salary package is in USD 9000 per month  which is around 33030pm plus housing, work visa, medical aid, school education, plus the 2 return flight to SA and 30 days leave,

I am not sure about the cost of living in the UAE

Is suffient enough to have a great lifestyle with saving every month.

Will need to get a car though.

Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Kameel.

Hello Kameelp,

Welcome to Expat.com,

While waiting for a feedback, have a glance at the different threads on the Cost of living in Abu Dhabi, it has already been addressed and it will give you an idea.

Furthermore, it also depends on your lifestyle. What will be your conditions of living?

See you soon,

We have many threads here discussing the cost of living.

You didn't mention how much is your housing and schooling coverage - those limits will make a difference to lifestyle.  The rest of the package is standard.

The other thing is that you need to be specific i.e. do you want to live in an apartment, a villa, what kind of schools you want the children in, do you like to eat out etc.......this will give a better idea of what your cost outlay is going to be like.   It is difficult to answer generic questions - for some people even 20K per month is a big amount whereas for others 60K is too little due to lifestyle choices.
