Dear All,

I will like to understand some of the following doubt in my mind after reading all the cases here:

I have done my diploma in electrical engineering and got a offer from one of the reputed company in Singapore. And soon team will apply for a EP or SP for me. but my concern is in my diploma i had 2 years of gap due to some personal reason, but I completed it successfully and i have all the certificates with me. and I have 7+ years of experience with big MNCs also my salary is high than required. please suggest if there will be any problem getting my pass OR which Pass should my company apply. I check in self assessment tool and it says i am eligible for both EP and SP.

please suggest your opinion. Thank you in advance.

Mr. Beppi and Mr. Surya waiting for your response.

It is impossible, from the limited information you gave, to deduce your chances of work pass approval.
You should read the many posts on this forujm about all the factors influencing approval chances.
The SAT result is only a first step.

Agreed with Beppi. Your information is not complete, secondly nobody can able to say whether your application will be successful or not as there are several yardsticks MoM checks before it approves or reject any application.

Below are few possible reasons to get approval:

1. Strong reason from employer why they want to hire a foreigner instead a local (must have posted in Job bank for 2 weeks)
2. Skills set and qualifications are at higher side and in demand
3. Salary should be within market range (not much higher or lower)
4. Employer must have good balance ratio between locals and foreigners in its hiring process

Good luck

Thank you, but my concern was only that in my education i had 2 years of gap which do you think will affect my application.

We don't know what criteria MoM applies in which case, sorry!

OK, thank you. Good luck to myself.
