How much would be the tax for 14000 RM after 182 days

How much would be the tax % for a person earning 14000 RM after 182 days.
For 182 days it is 28% but after that what would be the % of tax deducted.
Requesting for an answer.

Agree but that's the rate on the final amount earned over RM70, 000/annum.  It depends on how many months you earned that, of course.

But if a full 6 months salary I'd estimate your amount of TAX to be RM7540. Or RM 1256.6666/month.

But if you are a tax resident I think that you get TAXED at the preferred rate even if you have 28% DEDUCTED for the first six months. Thus your tax would be  based on the full RM168,000 (12 months salary), The MAXIMUM rate for that is between 24-25% but this is graduated and quite a bit lower for the first RM100,000 (See above).

Of course this also depends if you only earned income in one tax year. If you have overlapping years then you might be able to extend the tax residency rates into another year where you were not eligible by linking.
