EP rejected and applying through another recruitment agency

An agency doesn’t apply EP or S pass, rather the employer does. If an agency is applying that means they are the original job poster or they must have a job post with similar specifications.

It happens that consultants hire employees under their job post (based on the requirements of their clients), once they hire, they send the employee to their clients (mostly banks or large financial institutions in Singapore).

Whether it matters to MoM or not, based on what they provide the job information to MoM. MoM accept or rejects work pass based on those information. Good luck

So you say MOM won't have any concern who posted the job posting in the job bank (to approve or reject) even if another consultant applies for an EP with the same job post which was posted by previous consultant?

Did you read what I have written? I said very clearly that the consultant must have similar post in the job bank, as that would be their referral to MoM.

MoM asks employer to provide job details posted in Job Bank portal and proof (valid rationale) that the employer tried locally but didn’t get localities with similar skills set before they hired a foreigner.

If they can’t proof the above two points then MoM will reject the work pass application.
