Possibly moving to Phu Quoc from Hà Nội

Any tips on long term accommodation, shopping Center/ mall?
I have visited 4 times previously over the years but seems to be very quiet now  the last few visits.
The first was very lively but those bars and restaurants have long since gone.
My wife still loves the place though. 🤔

I visited Phu Quoc last year and found it to be a beautiful place.  Everything I saw was tourism, fish sauce, black pepper, an odd wine, and restaurants. There are bound to be some niche opportunities there.  It is in a unique position geographically.

For me, peace and quiet are just what the doctor ordered but for those wif a different taste, I have been told there is some type of fair for the children on one side of the island. My guess is there would be more activity around there.
We are headed back for the second time this year. We went for the first time last year and my wife and I both loved the place - but we live in HCM and enjoy getting away from the hustle and bustle for a few days of relaxation and rejuvenation.

I wonder if life will change on Phu Quoc once these massive casinos open. I actually don't mind casinos (might even visit one myself) but such an influx of rich tourists can't be good.
