Good Evening,
I am looking to move to Mauritius in March with my partner who has been offered a job there. I from England and specialise in Marketing, I am hoping to be able to find a job in order to be able to make the move across.
Would really appreciate any recommendations of potential employers or recruiters to contact who specialise in finding expats employment.
Have you thought of registering a business rather than looking for employment?
With the requisite initial transfer of USD 35k, I agree it can be daunting but in terms of ongoing maintenance costs, those would be quite minimal. Also - the USD 35k can not be in cash only - you can bring in assets which would be used for the purpose of your business and include their cost in that amount.
That is good to know, thank you very much.
I am hoping to have some luck finding a job with a recruiter but if not I will definitely have to look into that further.
Hi,
I am Bertrand, 31 Years old, I travel around the world as a French podiatrist and just arrived in Pointe de Flacq late January. Like Paul, I'm also working in the Hospitality Industry.
Thanks,
Bertrand

Hi everyone,
Mohamed from Sierra Leone and currently studying electrical power systems engineering in Mauritius. -undergraduate
My amazing time in Mauritius has been focused on studies all through. To spice things up and to get to engage with the Mauritian culture, I am currently searching for a part-time job that will allow me to work for 3-4 days a week or any contract type of role.
I have experience in project management, electronics prototyping, CAD design, machine operations, packaging lines, machine maintenance, training people and of course any light job a young man would do with little or no supervision and this could even be managing your social media pages or business website. I can fit into anything tech related role.
Please don't hesitate to leverage your network to help me earn this experience. You won't regret your investment. My inbox would be waiting for your kindness
Have a lovely weekend
Hello Brother,
It is very nice to hear from you. Do have yourself amazing time here. Hopefully we can meet one of this days.

We are looking for a reliable immigration consultant that can help us with:
*Visas

*Pet immigration
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Julian,
We are a family of three. We are totally new to emigration and need lots of guidance.
Myself, Ossie, 54. I currently own a plumbing business in South Africa which I would leave behind for my eldest son to run should we emigrate to Mauritius. I would either need a plumbing job or company to take over.
I am also interested in the entertainment and cooking industry. A small pub, club or restaurant would be a dream come true for me.
My partner, Samantha is 39 with a son of 11. She is a hairdresser and has been running her own salon since 2005. A hair salon for sale would be ideal for her.
Any help or advice will be awesome.
Hope to see you all in Mauritius 😜
Regards,
Ossie and Samantha
