Hi Everyone,
I contacted the embassy and they informed me that the family reunion visa for my husband will take 1-6 months no matter you apply together or he applies later. Has anyone received it earlier than this?
P.S I’m waiting for the SP still
Some consulates send all family reunification files to DOFI. If your consulate does this, no other option than to wait for the processing.

I guess it depends on the location of the consular office. Here in Singapore, VisaD, together with immediate family, only takes 5days, 2weeks max.

Well, you can expect the foreign office to be closed from the 25th December until the 1st January.
But, keep in mind, that most Belgians are picking 2 weeks holidays during Christmas and New Eve, so don't expect anything until early January.

Actually my company called the foreign office yesterday to confirm the progress of my application. They said my single permit was approved and the documents were sent to me by post on 12.24, but i haven't received anything. But it seems like they do sent the documents by post as well.
Hey everyone
I have few quick questions to ask regarding single permit
1. Admissible/Recvable means work permit has been approved?
2. How much more time to get the single permit.
I am already in belgium. I applied for single permit while being in belgium already.
My timeline
Date of submission:27th August 2019
Date of admissibility: 16 Dec 2019
Hey,
You are in belgium or outside belgium?

Hello,
I hope everyone is having a great start this year.
My employer has initiated my single permit application on 23/12/2019. I will be joining a company in Flanders in capacity of a Project Engineer. I have 4 years Bachelors degree in Engineering. However, my highest level of education is an MBA. I would to know if this will be concern in getting the work permit approval, as my highest degree is not exactly in the direction of my job profile? Can this lead to a rejection?
It will great if anyone can throw some light in this direction.
Thanks in advance.
