I havent received any news yet.
HAve you received anything from Wallonia yet?
Why like this some people getting single permit with in 3 to 4 weeks and some peoples still waiting what's wrong.
I am also waiting
I just know that if they do not answer within 4 months then my work permit will automatically be approved. That is unles they dont ask for an extension. My lawyer says that it is not good to contact the Region directly as it can be suspicious. Maybe the person who has to sign the work permit has just got back from holiday.
Acctuly I apply last month singke permit but I did one mistake i took medical certificate from another doctor not a belgium registered doctor
Do a medical checkup from a Belgium authorised Doctors and inform the embassy about the fault and ask them how to sent them the correct reports.
HI,
I Have the same case.Did you get your permit without master's certificate?
For Belgium I got pcc and got it apostilled. Does Belgium need online or offline apostille. I am from India. Kindly shed some light on this.
Hello Sharma,
Its a offline process. You can get it done through vfs attestation services.
So a quick update to some other folks. I had applied for single permit on 30th July and I still have not received any updates. The agency handling my application told me that i should hear something in the next week. Flanders region: If anyone is curious.
Hello Sharma,
Better will be to google and check for apostillation services around your area. Basically those guys will come and collect your PCC and send to it New Delhi. Normally it takes a week’s time after which they will get your apostilled PCC and you should pay them their service charges.

Hi. Indeed this is the case.
I had contact with the work and economic department last week. They indicated to me that they are behind with applications due to holidays, etc.
Basically, last week they just have reviewed applications submitted until the 26th of July. So, let's see if there is significant progress in the following weeks for applications submitted after that date. This is for Flanders only.
Let's wait and see. At the moment, nothing we can do. I am waiting as well for approval, at least from the work part of the single permit.

By any chance do you have the exact date when they told you that they are processing the applications that were received on 26th July? Just curious.

Hello guys
I got a job offer from a Belgian company. The process from the application till the interview and finally receiving the proposal with all the salary details and benefits was very prompt. The company wasted no time In this. However they now need to send me the employment contract and file for the single permit.
I haven't received the employment contract from them in 15 working days (3 weeks). I was worried so I called them up they said the administrative process in Belgium takes time and therefore they haven't sent me the offer letter.
Is this normal time frame to recieve the employment contract please advise. Also how long does it take to issue an employment contract?
Employment contract is usually sent as soon as the decision to hire is made. Because this document is required for the single permit (work and residence permit) application, along with bunch other.
They can issue an employment contract as soon as they want. The reason they mentioned is true that registration processing takes a lot of time (weeks/months…) and this makes a lot employers feel lazy and uncertainty about the employment. So they better refused signing the contract and find other candidates who requires less paper work.
I have experience those issues many times
Heya folks. Another update. My work permit was granted yesterday and now the home office has to grant the next step. Does anyone have any idea what’s the time frame for the second step in these days? For reference I submitted my single permit application 30th July.

The company managing my application sent me this information last week:
"Currently, the processing time with the Ministry of Employment is up to 8 weeks and between 3 to 5 weeks with the Ministry of Internal Affairs."
So what is the total time to be expected for single permit in the Flanders Region?

Looks like around 10-12 weeks.
Anyone has applied single permit in September

I still have not. My work permit was approved after 7 weeks and it will take apparently 3-5 weeks for the home office to grant the second step.
