Looking for good bars

Hi Richard, I found a good place the other week called the Reggae Bar in Chinatown, I think it might be just up your street, there's a good mix of people in there.
Let me know if you're going, I'll meet you there for a beer.

Thanks Mirnaari, I will definitely check it out. I saw in another thread that you were looking for drinking buddies. I'd be up for a drink with a new group of people sometime. Let me know if anything ever materialises.

3 years since I've been in there but it was a great place back then.

An Expat.com meet up is a brilliant idea. You just have to suggest a day, a place and time. You may start a new topic on the Kuala Lumpur forum, for better visibility, we will stick the discussion. (very easy)

Yeah I agree that en Expat.com meet up is something that is long overdue. I have a few suggestions in mind actually. Ill just put one down here.

Location: twenty one bar @ changkat, bukit bintang
Date: 3rd of June 2011
Time: 10PM onwards.

I'm open to other suggestions aswell.
Come on people lets make this happen.

Have you tried Terrace Arms at The Strand in Kota Damansara? They have the best steaks in town and the staff and crowd there are always friendly. Great beer prices too.

Hey everyone. I've been living in KL for a while now but missing expat friends - would love to get to know a few more people. If there are any drinks coming up, would love to join and meet some new friends! 28, british, bored. I work in KL but they pay me far too much to do far too little, so I get bored a lot! Hope to meet some cool people to have a drink with.
