Hi there, good people. We've been planning with the family for some time now on moving to ecuador for family reasons, and we're almost there (reaching the decision, not ecuador :P) I wanted to ask of all of you, if anyone knew about a decent bilingual school in the pichincha area, since we'll be planning our whole housing on the proximity to schools. We are a family of 5, the wife, me, 2 daughters and 1 son. Price should not be a problem, so keep that in mind. Thanks!

I went to Alliance Academy (Academia Alianza) for one year, a long time ago, when its location was on the outskirts of Quito right at the base of Pichincha - now the city has grown up around it.

A Wikipedia article about the school:

Here is their website:

Hi. I have a 6 yr old in the Albert Einstein school in Carcelen. Excellent. Bilingual, Seniors go off to good college. Their is also Academia Cotopaxi sponsored by USA. Colegio Americano also in Carcelen, Colegio Menor in Cumbaya and the British School in Tumbaco. These all send Seniors to Top Universities and the last 4 are mostly English teaching. all around $12k per year. Discount for múltiple siblings. Academia Cotopaxi a bit more
Hope that helps
