Family of 5 Moving to Dublin

hello all.

i have a job offer to move to Dublin. My concern is that with a family of 5 (all school aged), husband not working (at least initially)
- what would be minimum income to consider? i'd not want to be worse off or starve the kids.
- what are the family areas to look for a place to rent?

I've had some idea by looking up online but most of the information and responses are somewhat dated and would appreciate insight on the market right now.
