home invasions and other dangers - plus... sheep

We love the place. We are half way between Boquete and David. Mostly the people are very friendly and helpful but as in any country there are the bad ones, there are also the ones that can't help being unhappy and complain all the time, but we just ignore them because they will never be happy anywhere.

You're funny. But i agree.

To come back to the topic, Portugal isnt that dangerous or politically bribed
as Spain or Germany. Spain cooks up anytime any new legislations ...rip-off
to catch your money as they are in fact bancrupt. Criminality isnt enywhere
in Europe that high as in latin america or some south east asian countries.

Since Salvini (Italian minister of interior and second prime) closed the gap
for the poverty ('migrants') from Africa they're flushing into Spain. It's an
endless desease but by the fact that the whole Spain disposes of ~1'600'000
empty housings illegal occupations happen again and again. But only a few
happen with violence. And the dumb politic-actors - who caused basically
the problem - are unable to solve it. Crappy poltics as just everywhere.

But the most of this invaders only pass thru to go to another country like
France, Germany, or the U.K. The other countries in europe almost closed
this gaps. This wanderers are fitted with credit cards supplied by the UN,
what means they are fitted with money from George Soros and similar
notorious molesters.

I promise youre feeling much more lucky residing in Portugal then in any
latin american country. And you have not to fear any epidemics like yellow
fever, dengue or malaria. Portugal is not Spain. And not France or any other
country. As far i know to settle down in Portugal you have to proof a monthly
income of about 1500$ otherwise you don't will receive any type of Visa.
A mesurement to keep the poverty out. And illegals will be in general very
fast ejected.

To save your perimeter in latin america i thought about to use some FLIR-
goodies for protection and counter-surveillance. And a 7.65 or 9mm lawmaker.

PPI Panama

We are from Canada (West Coast) and moved to Panama in 2012 with our 2 young children.
Panama like everywhere, has crime.
Panama City and Colon have the highest crime rate much the same as you would see in Toronto or Vancouver.
We have not experienced any significant crime here however we live in Boquete which is more rural than urban.
It all comes down to location.
What I can say is the number of violent crimes here in Panama compared to where we lived in Canada is significantly less, in fact, almost nonexistent.
