Indian license conversion.

Unfortunately, Romania does not recognize the driving licence issued by India.

As a non-EU resident living in Romania, you will have to apply for a Romanian Driving Licence and undertake the regular theoritical and practical courses and also appear for the exams curated by the driving schools.

Most areas have a couple of driving schools who would guide and prepare you for the exams and the final driving test as well. Keep in mind for your exams you need to register at the nearest Police Station to your place of residence and also carry along a proof of your residence address.
