I see there are already a few and lengthy threads on Vietnam Visa blacklists.

However

The consensus, and personal experience being - agents/immigration and any passers-by are generally asking anything between $3000 and $5000 to get clear of this 'blacklist'.

At some point, in seeking a work permit, a potential employer told me my Blacklist status expires in June 2019.

1. Does anyone have any experience of getting a visa post-blacklist?
2. Has anyone used an honest lawyer/agent for a more reasonable fee?

Thanks in advance

Do you know why you were blacklisted?

grantgrant

Yes
Complicated. But had wrong sort of DN visa previously.
But told blacklist lifted on June 15th 2019

Any info?

Cheers

Nobody seems to have a clear answer, don't forget it varies from city-to-city and provence-to-provence. It's all as clear as mud.

Yea I have put maximum time and effort in for the last six months --- and not a straight answer from anyone

Yeah, its damn frustrating.

I went to collect a box of personal belongings years ago near the airport. It took me 5 hours and 14 signatures to collect one box, I was totally pissed off.

Nothing is easy!!!
