I just know that you don't need a visa to go to Svalbard, which is part of Norway.

Hello fortnight, you mean as Angolan I don’t need a VISA to travel to svalbard?

Cynic

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

My understanding is that for travel from Svalbard to Norway, you don't need a visa.  However, you can only travel to Svalbard from Norway and non-EU/EAA citizens do need a visa to enter Norway.

The link provided by Fornight includes a message from the Governor:

Governor of Svalbard wrote:

Those who consider living in Svalbard should be aware that it is difficult to find both work and housing, and the weather conditions are very challenging compared to most other places in the world. Living expenses are very high, and the Governor can reject persons without sufficient means to support themselves.

Hope this helps.
