Urgent help on returning to Brazil.

Hi all, I'm really looking for some urgent help if possible.

I'm currently in my home country Scotland after returning from Brazil on Monday. I'm married to a Brazilian and my purpose for returning home to Scotland was with the intention of fixing our situation properly and making things more permanent for us. I married my wife on December 28th, 2018 during my 90 day tourist visa. I then over stayed 120 days or so due to having just married my wife and her later getting diagnosed with a lifelong bone disease. I was then issued with the 10k fine as expected when leaving the country and a 6 month ban (as a tourist). My goal was to come back and apply for the VITEM XI family visa for 1 year because I'm married now to a Brazilian. However, this process will take at least a few weeks to get sorted due to having to collect all the right documentation and taking a trip down to London to apply. I'm writing today for help because my wife back in Brazil is currently very ill. She has an ongoing bone disease that doesn't seem to be getting better and her days are very difficult. Going back and forth between hospital each passing day. Can also be proved. As you can imagine, I feel like absolute shit and so helpless. Does anyone know a way of me getting back to the country faster? I understand the fine is non avoidable, but that isn't a problem, I can pay it. I thought about contacting the police federal in Brazil via email again, yes, again.. because I already wrote to them this week on Monday and they still haven't replied. Does anyone know of Brazilian federal in the UK or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just want to get back as soon as possible and totally regret my decision coming home. If only I could turn back time..

Your fastest way back is probably through the VITEM XI, so you should do everything you can to expedite your documentation and get that going.
The Justice Ministry (Federal Police) and the Foreign Ministry (Consulates General) divide responsibility very strictly between themselves: foreigners within Brazil are a Federal Police concern, foreigners outside are a Foreign Ministry concern. So, the Federal Police probably aren't going to respond, and if they do, they'll probably tell you that they can't help. You may be able to convince the Consulate General in London to waive your ban for humanitarian reasons; it's worth asking. If they do waive it, make sure to have all the documents you'll need to apply for permanent residency with you when you come back to Brazil, so that you can go to the Federal Police ASAP and get it settled.
