Howdy one and all.

We are a mixed couple, South Africa - Irish decent, with a Cambodian wife. We have a child as well and a dog.

Having lived in SEA for the past 12 years looking to move to Europe and would like to consider our options for Ireland. UK is out as it's completely impossible for Cambodians.

Our child has a British Passport as do I and wife has Cambodian.

We would be prepared to move anywhere in the country for a reasonable job and opportunity to move there.

IF any of you would kindly offer some advice, pointers and process info - we would be very grateful.

Thanks in Advance

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

You'll find it a lot easier with an Irish passport; have you considered trying to get Irish nationality?

Hope this helps.

Here's the way in for all three of you plus Doggy ........... Have enough funds to cover yourselves for two continuous years without a break or applying for governmental benefits or health packages ..... You can then establish you are habitualy residing in the country and doors will open, of course chuck out the old passports and get an Irish one .

Easier said than done...... BUT ... I did it
