Spanish communities in Bali

Post new topic

Mike.Bali

Hello, are there Spanish communities in Bali  ?

Karim bali

Yes sure there are spanish people here.

Ubudian

Mike, do a quick Google, "Spanish expats in Bali."  You'll find some useful links.

Mike.Bali

Where? I have tried Facebook but I think they are not active anymore, they didn't even accept me in the group....

Mike.Bali

Same thing, I can't find any link who brings me to a community, except Internations which ask me to pay to get in touch with other members. 🙄

Ubudian

That's one site I had in mind.  I didn't realize they require payment.

Did you try right here on https://www.expat.com?

https://www.expat.com/en/network/spanish/in/10299-bali/

Mike.Bali

Yes I did, only you and and Karim Bali answered.  :|

Ubudian

Click on that link I gave you and a page will come up...

"Spanish expatriates in Bali  Join the Spanish expats network in Bali and expand your social network!"

From that page you can send a private message to any of the numerous expats on Bali who come from Spain.

Another option is to take out an ad in The Bali Advertiser "looking to meet other Spanish expats."

Karim bali

Come to bali and you will find.😉

Mike.Bali

I am in Bali, for a very long time...

To meet people try James Cook Sports Bar in Raya Semmer, Kerobokan.
While I can't say that anyone is Spanish, there are people from all over the world who meet here for football, rugby, cricket, pool and darts night and of course, a beer.
It is a good place to make contacts and there is a culture of looking out for each other.

Are the cowboys still at it and, if so, how do I apply to be one?

Ubudian

Without wishing to seems rude and crass, that's what I was hoping. I'm not gay you know  ... sometimes not fussy, but not drinking helped that. :D

Ubudian

Drinking, or not has nothing to do with being gay.

My response was to Liudmila 123 who asked, “Is this place is also attractive for girls? :-)”

That's all!   :)

liudmila123

Ubudian, I will check the place for sure- it's already interesting for me to meet there Bali style kuta cowboys 😄😄😄

Ubudian

Ubudian

liudmila123

Ubudian, can't check the link - status under review by administrator. But anyway thanks for advising 🙏

Ubudian

No problem.  Just Google, Youtube Kuta Cowboys.

A number of choices will come up for you to review.

Mike.Bali
