Where to find the "essentials"

Hello all...I'm new to Hyderabad after spending the last 10 years in Vietnam and Malaysia. As I am about to move into my new apartment (Golf Edge in the Financial District), I am wondering if anyone can help out first with where are good places to get some of the essentials for home? Top of the list is good markets for food (even some "western" items if possible), basic kitchen items (dishes, silverware, pots/pans, cleaning supplies, etc), other household items (towels, bedding, etc.), and even clothing.

Once I get the basics down, I'll be back to find out about dining out, social life, activities, etc. etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey,
You can visit Ikea for essentials. It is near to Golf Edge. For beer wine and soirit try English Caffe .It is walking distance from your apartment.
You can also visit Inorbit Mall which is one stop for everything.
