Hi Dear,

I'm in surakarta, Central Java Indonesia. I reached here last week along with my wife with Indonesia work permit. My wife is a teacher and working with one of the best Indonesian school although I'm looking forward about my job here in solo city. The problem that I'm facing is a language because Indonesian mostly speak in their language, I hardly find anyone speaking in English. I'm a working professional having five year experience in multinational company in accounting. Please help me to find a job here. I see there are textile industries where I can work with.
Thank you

Best Regards,
Haseen

For your information.

You can only get a work permit for a job that Indonesians are either unable to do, or are unavailable to do.
That limits your options quite a lot.

Yes ofcourse

Thank you

Look at the International companies based here, Singapore and Malaysia along with the preferred recruiting agencies
My employer has just been granted work visa uplift from 1 per 15 locals to 1 per 5 but ,local work force numbers cannot change due to impossible to find locally the skills needed
Local economy wise makes the place richer and makes perfect sense

What makes “perfect sense” is only to hire foreign workers when locally available and qualified help is NOT otherwise available.

Protecting jobs for Indonesians is not only honorable, it is essential for the long term development of a growing economy…albeit, already at G-20 level.
