Room rental from mid-Sept 2019?

Hi guys,

I'm in final negotiations for a job placement in Chengdu

Amongst the many things that one typically has to figure out, the issue of accommodation is one that remains at the top of my list

I've explored Anjuke to get a sense of the rental rates and they are alright

However, I'm wary of plunging head in just based on the limited information that I can get online

Thought of getting lodging first at a hotel for the first month while that is sorted but here's where the problem is - the difference in cost just doesn't make it worthwhile

Do hit me up if you've got a room to rent out for a month or so!

Best,
JP

Stay in a hostel. Stay in a shared room. 4 to 6 person.

Use your employer to help you locate a monthly apartment. 99.5% of employers will do so. Then follow their advice and work with them.

Remember. This is China. It is your face-to-face associations and dealings with people that will determine your overall successful integration into the Chinese culture. Not your ability to press buttons on the latest app.

Appreciate your input. Shall explore the option of a hostel.

Do also see your point about the interaction. I'm quite familiar with the working culture in China. In fact, I'm ethnically Chinese.

Just hoping to tap on the knowledge of those who may have some to share :)
