I overstayed my previous visit in 2015 and its been 3years now planning to go and visit my girlfriend. I renewed my passport and i have a new passport number is there a possibility i might be granted entry.?

If you overstayed your last visit, then there's a high probability that you have been blacklisted and consequently won't be granted entry into Mauritius.

If that's the case, then you will have to contact the Passport and Immigration Office in Mauritius for a permit to enter Mauritius and try to fix your situation.

Thanks for your reply. I have actually tried my possible best to contact them and it looks like they are going to take forever to answer thier phone and also reply my email..

Hi
In Mauritius , immigration is not so strick and as long you have a good and valid reason of your overstaying , they will turn a blind eyes over it .
My gf overstayed for 3 months , after that she went more 2 times without any issues at the immigration
But if they suspect of any wrong doing they will screw you badly ,
Best of luck

Sorry
Second possibility they will let you in the country but will hold on to your passport
Best of luck
