EP rejected as the job was not posted on the SG job bank

Hello, I have an offer from American company based in Singapore. This company is a product based company. And I have been hired as a Client service Manager/9000sgd-per month. I have finished the joining formalities and my joining is in October. My employer applied for my EP on 14/08/2019 which got rejected on 21/08. Reason listed was job was not posted on SG job bank as per the consultant hired by the employer. The company HR advised that they will re submit my application after 16 days of posting the job on job bank. I want to know what are my chances of approval this time and how many times can one apply for an EP?how long does it take to get the approval? I have a total experience of 12 years in the same industry and a BTech.

To find a rental flat, you should check the usual classified sites.
Finding a job on DP isn’t easy and it will likely be bot well paid. Furthermore, your husband would need an LoC from MoM to be allowed to work. This used to be a mere formality, but now gets frequently rejected.

Hi, how wide was the salary range when they first rejected your EP? My company is also posting a salary range and your rejection got me worried.

@Hexxy- The range was 2.5X, hence the application got rejected

@Beppi, thanks for the update. Also, he has a rich IT/Telecom Background.. I guess it is better to find a job that allows him to work on an EP..isnt it.. And i also read it should not be very difficult to find IT jobs in SG ..is that true?

Any job for a foreigner is not easy, as it has to go through many steps and procedures before MoM consider the application. So, each time employer has to prove that this foreign candidate is fit for this post only. Good luck
