Registering a vehicle in Spain

I am looking to buy a secondhand Motorhome currently on Gibraltar plates. Vehicle is 20yrs old and was originally registered in UK before being reregistered in Gibraltar 4yrs ago. Currently has all legal paperwork and MOT until Sept.2020.
Need advice as to how I would get it on to Spanish plates. Will there be any likely problems registering it in Spain and what are the likely costs.

A common MO in spain is to use a gestor. You will find them online (google search:- gestor with the name of the town) or they are in most main streets. Some specialise in motor vehicle paperwork.

If you speak to a gestor they will give you a quotation so you can decide if it is worthwhile. Many people report that it was s a lot of hassle.
