Individual Business/Company as a foreigner expat

medmehrez

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if it's possible to start your own business title as an individual with no physical office in Malaysia.

I'm currently working in KL full-time but I'm looking into self-employment as a motion graphic designer and video editor and it seems that starting a company is the only way towards getting a proper Visa.

I'd really appreciate it If anyone can point me towards any useful articles or references. Thanks a lot :D

Hi medmehrez, for foreigners in Malaysia, you can start a private limited company with no physical business address. But you need to get an employment pass through the company that you have started.
