Cyprus Yellow Slip for residents of Northern Cyprus

With BREXIT looming we would like to know if we can get a yellow slip MEU1 for the Republic of cyprus whilst living in the North of the Island.  Has anyone done it and how.

I seriously doubt it unless you can prove that you reside permanently in the south by way of regular bills, bank statements, income, rental lease or house purchase or work contract in the south

Unless it is your plan to eventually live in the south then I would suggest that you start making plans as I understand that  applications for MEU1 or 3 will only extend  to Dec 2020 (with relevant proof of residency here in the south) as after that application requirements are highly likely to change it may be big changes it may just be small ones but either way brits will be treated as TCNs much the same as you are now in the North

Q why would you need it if you live as a TCN already in the North.... you dont need it to come over to the south although that may change but only if Cyprus and UK  dont reciprocate with like for like treatment
