Hi everyone, wanted to ask if im able to drive in malaysia using my indonesian driving license.

If can't , what are the options?

I really am not sure, but I used my UK Driving license in Malaysia for many years (but I never got stopped by the police). According to the below article, yes you can use your own foreign license to drive in Malaysia.

However, if I were in your position, I would either try to get an IDP (International Driving Permit) from the authorities in Indonesia or apply for a Malaysian driving license.

There is an possibility of converting your own local driving license to a Malaysian driving license, but I think Indonesia is one of the countries that is not accepted for this. In anycase, if you plan to live or work/study in Malaysia then it is worth applying for a Malaysian driving license.
