chances of securing an S / E Pass

Hello,
I have got a job at a leading insurance based company for their IT department for 4500 SGD + AWS + Yearly Performance Bonus and a role of Technical Analyst. I got 3 years of experience in building big data / data science applications in India and have bachelors degree in computer science and engineering.

I have been an Ex-PR and was cancelled by my parents at my age of 13 in 2007 due to his transfer to a different country. It's been 12 years since I left Singapore. I have read in many forums that cancelling PR will affect work visa and future PR applications.

Do such cases get rejected or are there chances to get S / EP?

Cancellation of PR would have affected if you were adult at the time of a cancellation but in your case, you were 13 years old so, shouldn’t have much impact.

Your application approval should be based on the criteria placed at MoM. Good luck

Sorry to contradict Surya above: Cancelling a PR in the second generation before one has fulfilled the NS obligations can have a negative influence on any future visa application - if the authorities have the impression that it was done to avoid this obligation!
