"""The test's structure
The Celpe-Bras evaluates oral and written comprehension, speech and writing skills in an integrated way, divided in two parts:

Written part: (3 hours taken) – two assignments integrating oral comprehension and written skills and two assignments integrating reading and writing skills Oral part (20 minutes taken) – conversation about activities and interests mentioned by the applicant in the form, a conversation about everyday life and of general interests."""

My question is how to pass this test ? Can you give me this word so that I can study and I can prepared myself for this test in one years??  Give me this word list so that I can study hard. Please please

stanza51

Honestly speaking if you are looking for a word list then even going through the dictionary won’t help you pass the Celpe Bras.  The best options that you have is to start taking a language course focused on the CELPE Bras and another option is to enroll yourself in the Português language courses focused on Immigrants, these courses are normally taking place in the Public universities all over Brazil!

Also in my point of view, the CELPE Bras is more about how you adapt and handle situations in Portuguese so it is also good for you to force yourself to communicate in Portuguese with your neighbors and other Brazilian friends.

One of my favorite ways of practicing was to take my son to the supermarket and then try practicing basic communication in forming sentences for anything from how much do the eggs cost to will someone be able to assist me in taking the groceries to my car!

Best of luck

I´m sure she´d like learn Portuguese the fast and easy way and to also pass CELPE Bras while economizing money. Then try everyday to speak and think in Portuguese with husband and friends
and to read newspapers or any magazines in Portuguese. Lots of newspapers (expired) for free at restaurants or beauty parlors etc. Yahoo news on-line is good while also keeping the Google Tradutor
alongside it.

Taking the CelpeBras in a year is a realistic, if ambitious goal.

Robal is right that you should be reading newspapers and magazines.  You should also watch Brazilian newscasts and nature shows, any show where you can hear a lot of good Portuguese at a conversational pace.  That also includes podcasts -- Folha de São Paulo has a particularly good one on current events, `Café da Manhã`.  Podcasts and TV can be especially helpful, because one part of the test is based on a video, and a second is based on an audio recording.  And of course, you should always be practicing.

But none of this is enough, particularly if you want to pass in a year.

Both Stanza51 and I have taken and passed the test in the recent past, so you can take our word for this -- you're not going to get there just by speaking and listening.  You need a course.

More than any other single thing, CelpeBras is a Portuguese composition test.  You need to write five essays, in good Portuguese, in legible handwriting, on subjects you`ll only hear about that day.  You must score at least an `Intermediate` on both the written and oral tests to pass, and your overall score is the LOWER of the two, not an average.  The ability to write good Portuguese is an absolute necessity.

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul keeps an archive of past tests here --

http://www.ufrgs.br/acervocelpebras/acervo/2019

You should download one and take it, just to see what it's like, then continue to take others as you study, to measure your improvement.  You`ll know when you`re ready for the real thing.
