Hi my wife has been offered a job in Hong Kong it is just the two of us
Just trying to work out what sort of package we should negotiate
Guessing I won’t be able to work so is this taken into account with job offer

Hi.
Usually it is not taken into consideration, especially in HK where spouses are authorised to take a job. By order of importance, you should ask for:
- medical coverage for both of you
- housing allowance (even if it is deducted from the base salary, take it because it has a significant tax impact)
- plane tickets + moving fees + minimum two weeks of hotel when you arrive
- annual return tickets to your home country
- admin support for your spouse visa (not super important as your wife can also do it by herself, and it is super cheap)
