My wife & I, (Ross & Alison) are both retired. Lived & worked in the UK, mainly London, until 2006 when we moved to Oz on permanent visa's. Lived in Adelaide & the Northern Beaches. Moved back to the UK in 2010. Lived in various places in Wales . Thought about moving to Penang but after visiting there (2013) for short period decided against it. Now looking to move to KL.
About to start the MM2H application process.

Welcome to the forum.

That's great as I believe Malaysia is a great place to retire. Can I ask why you decided against living in Penang and why you prefer KL? I lived in KL for 12 years and had MM2H but often wondered whether it would have been more enjoyable living in Penang.

Anyway, I finally decided to move to Indonesia which I really love as the natural beauty is far greater than in Malaysia in my opinion. The biggest negative on this is that you cannot buy property in Indonesia unless it is under a local's name and fortunately my wife is Indonesian. The biggest advantage is that it is a lot lot less expensive to live in Indonesia.
