Dear all, i want to share my experience to all of u guys. I was sent back home last Feb2010 due to HBV but a healthy carrier. Before that i used to work in an office kind of job wherein they did not include HBV test that was year 2008.Residence visa was issued to me then.I was terminated from that job due to recession. When they cancelled my visa. I got an job offer from a group of restaurant in Dubai. I am aware that i have this kind of disease but took the risk. Unfortunately, they found that i am positive with the HBV. Now i am currently in my home country.I had gone thru 2 bloodtest just to verify the said disease but I was not deported right away. The company is very kind to me they told me to come back and get treated and they will give the job position that they have given me. Our company PRO sent me to the airport which he explained to me that HBV test depends on your job. If you are food handler you have to udergo for HBV test. I was holding my paper on the day of the departure and it is stated there that i got one year ban and there is a note: due Health Reasons. I am planning to go back to UAE because my husband to be is working there and my brother as well. I got a friend from immigration and asked him to check if i do have ban when he check it from the system there was no ban on me. Now my question is If i come back and work there in an Office kind of job ( not as FOOD HANDLER or restaurant) will there be any problem on my medical for acquiring a resident visa? If the new law will be implemented can i ask my company to sponsor me once again and be vaccinated as what ive read in the forum? Guys, I've been battling for this disease. I am losing hope but still i kept on praying. I know that GOD is with us. please i need help from u guys..been reading this forum for a month now and ur relieving all my worries..MAY GOD BE WITH US ALWAYS.... thanks for ur help brothers and sisters...

Can anybody make it clear of section B which is residence or labor residence or renewal visa shall not be granted to positive cases. Is it for six category people or for all?
If it is for six category people it should be written for six category people that means this is applicable for all people. Please share your view
http://www.moh.gov.ae/en/NewsDetails566.aspx
2-Hepatitis (B):
a-The labor medical checkup is limited to the new arrivals either for labor or residency for the following 6 categories: nannies, housemaids, nursery and kindergarten supervisors, workers in hairdresser saloons, beauty centers and health clubs, workers in processing and food control authorities, workers in cafeterias and restaurants.
b-residence or labor residence or renewal visa shall not be granted to positive cases.

Thax and cograts too and to all members of this forum am still worried about the fate of deported brothers and sisters.please lets pray for them to be allowed back to join their families.
Well, i strongly believe everything happens for a purpose and my vise was one of it, i have learnt alot from it though it was painful the day i was old not fit for Residency vise ..but God is strang i dont know how i got hep B which i always wish to know ...i have two 2 and both dont hae including my husband that i have sex with so it just sucks with some rules where as i cant infect my husband in this case how can i infect UAE,,,? moreover hep has a vac any one vacinated can never get it unlike hep c ....well, i didnt choose to have hep B thats why God has answered my prayers next month i will be flying in to apply and if this new law doesnt work work its all good with me coz UAE is not the only country to live in.......

its very obvious:
...in clause "a" - check-up is only for 6 categories
...so in "b" - positive cases is also referring to 6 categories.
@ Sahil,
They willnot check Hepatitis for any other category. Then How they will know that Other categories are Positive or not...Clause B is applicable only to six categories....

MGeorge
From my understanding they are still checking for hep b, so dont confuse another here...the uAe law changes like cloths ... 2008 law was said to be a 3 months trail and that gives u an ans to ur questions....crap country of all...they maryy more than 2 wives and trying to say exparts bring hep and hive bullcrap.....

Dear All,
I am not discouraging my friends in this forum,i am a new guy by posting but i am 2 year old on viewing this site and hoping, praying for all the brothers and sisters who were clinched under the wild law og hbsag i am an unfortunated guy who had been deported from dubai from the post of warehuse manager.
bcoz of this "holy shit law".everybody want to know that we r not criminals, illness will come for all even the all mighty will have it.i am not making it longer, and i am also not very good in english so pls clarify the new ammend in the law;they have not explained well that what are the forthcoming happenings for the guys who r negative in hbsag.they told every persons for new visa shall be checked for hbsag test and they give vaccinations for the six categories mentioned in the law by charging 50Dhswhat abt the others they told was will not be deported but want to make sure that they should treat the illness in completely and prove it in medical front; but how my FRIENDS hbsag B can't be treated 100% cure then what will the moh authority do with these guys.MICKEY 2000 told that
everybody have there own meaning that's why i say some one want to try to clarfy this thing with better english
PLS DON'T sideback by message
I am praying before all gods for the brothers and sisters in this forum

If you don't understand plain english and want to doubt the authenticity of the news, its up to you. But don't curse here, or discouraged others.
Ayways, this their country and this is their rule, and you and I are just strangers here, so you don't have any right to curse their government and their rules.
I am very happy of the new rule.
If you are in doubt, wait for the law to be implemented and see for yourself. Don't just conclude negatively and discouraged others.
WHICH CLAUSE OF THE LAW YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND???
henrydets wrote:Article (5):
Guys can somebody explain what does the below statement mean?
All positive cases for the diseases that are described in article (2) of decision must take all preventative procedures for the diseases that may pose threat to the public health stipulated in the federal law No. (27) of 1981 concerning the protection of communicable diseases. The procedures include:
Deportation of all positive cases that prove to have such diseases at the time of residence visa or renewal according to the medical checkup results. All concerned health authorities determined by the Minister of Health must implement these measures in accordance with the vested authorization under the provisions of the federal law referred to above.
Nobody likes to interprete the Article (5)? Deportation of all positive cases, without testing hep B, how can they know positive or negative? or this is only limited in six categories? but it was described as "all positive cases".
I agree with you rds because life's and future of many people rely on this forum, we already gain friends in this forum, and many person here devote time to find any information that can help others not just themselves.Lets just try to do what they do, instead of bringing confusion and doubts, let's try to help for our brother's and sister's who until now is confuse. We should do this Forum like a book where we can find helpful information and knowledge. Anyway we all can get benefits from this.God bless!!!

Hi m_peks
im from batangas... just add me up loisemadrigal25@yahoo.com so that we can talk.
Guys, this forum is very helpful to us. Just try to be positive and I know GOD will provide everything for us just be strong...When he closes the DOOR he always open his window.
I worked in UAE for almost three years... I first came on a visit visa. I knew from the start that i have this kind of disease HBV but inactive meaning its not contagious. My first job was as a Events Executive working mostly in the office but I got my residence visa approved then even if im HbV positive when i left this company and got another job it was from a group of restaurant. I moved job because of recession i took a medical test again for my new visa with the other company(Restaurant). My position was a Reservation Officer in a restaurant but then they gave me an HBV test, Xray, HIV and stool test. So it means that if you guys will work not on the six categories they will only give u an X-ray and HIV check up...thats it! I asked the PRO of our company. I was sent back home last Feb2010. SO i just hope that I could come back. and im praying that the law will be implemented. We are not criminals. We just want to work for our families and help them. I know that we will overcome all these struggles that we are going through.. SO hope my experience helped you.. Keep posting and let us cross our finger to the new law...
Hi eywa,
I have the same problem, i just discovered wen i transfer to another company. I went to al baraha for my test, this was 2009 they told me i have prob. in my medical, i refused to believed. the local guy whos sitting in the office help me, he spoke to the hosp. director of what to do regarding my case whos been in dubai for long time now, they have given me cert. bec. upon cancellation i did not go outside UAE (thats the consideration they have given me and to others). until now im very thankful with this local guy and to al baraha hospital because this disease did not stop me from working in Dubai with the help of the people in the govt. who has consideration and compassion towards other people even we are not in the same nationality.

Concern, thank you so much for sharing your experience its really a great help and YOU are so lucky... but for me the restaurant company sent me to Dubai Clinic i think thats the Maktoum Hospital. I was not deported right away when they found out about my case. The PRO just sent me to the aiport after couple of weeks. I am planning to get a visit visa again next month and hopefully to get a good news with this new law. Hope not to have any problem..Hope you can share some of ur ideas...thank you and keep praying...

Hi mickey2000
Got one question for you. Do u have any idea if they are going to trace my records before in Dubai Municipality Hospital in Deira once i come back? That was the place I took my medical check up. Thats what im scared of. I might work in an Office and not on 6 categories (anything that related to health or food). Im a healthy carrier though. thanks for ur help. please share ur ideas. God bless!
eywa30,
during those times maktoum is not giving consideration as well as other hospitals, al baraha has been following rules eversince and checking very carefully, in this way they found out that dubai is still giving consideration and they just followed it (just recently other hosp. like muhaisnah has started giving consideration bec. its in the law). if this new law will be implemented, i advised everybody to just go to al baraha for their medical and they will be safe.
