Has anyone managed to get the ban lifted from dubai?
My friend has been to healthcare city at the dubai health authority and they have sent the person to al bahara hospital in deira. However my test was done at the municipality clinic.

Can someone, anyone who has gone through the process already, please explain how and where to get the letter from?
Pleaaseee help!

I would really appreciate some directions.
Thank you!

Dear anonephil,

i think u cud very well help me and my sister. we both are Passive Hep B carriers.

As in my case, i surpassed all the dilemmas of it, got my labor card and is now working for almost 3 years now. hopefully, in my visa renewal it will still be the same..

nwei, thinking it wud be the same fate with my sister, i supported her coming here on a visit visa, with the knowledge that on medical check-up to get labor card, only the 6 specified categories are being checked of hep b, like in my case in 2008.

but just this afternoon only, she went to al satwa to have her medical check-up.before getting it done, she first asked what shud be checked and she was informed that Hep b is included. she was soo worried. good thing, due to lack of requirements, no ID photos, she was not allowed to have her medical today.

now, what i suggested her to do is to go to a private clinic, bring with her all her previous results(from Phils), and get tested of HBSag and as well as HBEag, DNA, etc, and get a medical certificate from a Private Specialist.we are confident that she is a a Passive (non-infectious)carrier since she is a registered Nurse (requirement in phils to get into med school is to be hep B free / or shud be passive carrier)and we have have been in control of this long time back since we already knew about it long time as well. also our case is like, we were immunized for hep b but the series were not finished (unfinished immunization)that's why our blood is stained with the virus which is detectable thru HBSag.(whatodo)
after that, i told her to tell her boss or their PRO of her case
and get help before undergoing the medical check-up.

am i right with my suggestion? what else can we do? she is into Sales now, and is not falling into the 6 special categories. will she really be tested?

Please help.. and tell us what else we can do..

hope to hear from you very soon. thanking you in advance!

God bless..

Dear Friends, please help.

Anyone, any buddy, please suggest where is the best place in Dubai to have the medical check-up done? Al satwa, Jebeel ali or al baraha, or where else? Place where Hep_b is not being tested unless under the 6 special categories?
My sister is a hep b passive carrier. she will be undergoing medical check-up after these holidays for her labor card. she just came on visit visa last October and luckily found a job in Sales Industry.

please suggest.

Hoping to have an ardent response soon...

Thank you and God bless us all!

Hi Ritz,

Since for a long time i'm following your post to guide me from the following procedures of what you did.  Same like you I've submitted the letter from DHA to immigration together with the rejected application form for my husbands visa last Oct 26. They told me the same thing to call me for any progress.  But when I read the testimony of annefrank and cincyd that they remove their ban It gave me lots of hope.  From your post that you are going to visit the immigration personally to check the status of your wife what did they told you?

Please update so that when I come back to UAE on Nov 30 I will do the same thing.

This Wednesday i went to jafiliya immigration to check status of the ban.I was informed that they are waiting for instructions from Abu Dhabi to lift the ban and I was asked to wait.
I am not sure if they are treating each case individually.
It is better to follow up with them.

I request those who have submitted the letter from health authority to follow up with immigration.

hi emcy,

Everybody will all have to undergo medical check-up to get a labor card so postponing it won't help..Face the consequences head on...I know it's hard because it is a career on stake but that's the only way we shud do it...All medical clinic still check for hep b because their system still requires them to do so,so with my case...I got my clearance obviously bec. I already have my labor card but sad to say I don't know how since it's my company who worked on it..Go for it..God is with us..God Bless.

one more question please ANONEPHIL:

Did u tell ur boss or company PRO before having your medical?

this info will help us.

thank u soo much...

Emcy,

If your sister is into sales now she doesn't fall into the 6 categories. I believe even if she is tested she will be given a fit certificate. I know that from previous posts on this forum. I also think its is up to her if she wants to inform her boss or pro about it. From my experience people are not well informed about this disease and once they know you are infected they treat you differently.

Best of luck now and there's most probably nothing to worry about! :))

jerin_cutie

Hi Ritz,

Did you check again fromthe immigration?  When is your last visit to jafliya?  I,m a little bit confuse again because like annefrank and vincyd already settled their ban and some of them came back in Dubai.  In fact they have the same case having lifetime ban for our husband and wife. And according to them its very easy to remove now the ban but suddenly why they are telling us like this.  This is not fair for all of us.

But I will try to visit the immigration and meet the same guy in the blacklists  section.

I hope that God will help us also and have mercy on us.

Goodluck to all of us,

Jerin

Dear stellanutella,

thanks for the enlightenment.. nwei, i'm telling her to do it alone and get help only from his boss or pro once the result will turn out otherwise.

i will keep everyone posted whatever the result may be so all  the new members are well guided as well.

Hi Vincyd,

Thanks for sharing your testimony.  I've been following your post from time to time and i'm happy for you that you sorted out your problem.  You have the same case of my husband, I hope that I can lift his ban also soon.

I just want to ask only if you came back in Dubai already after lifting your ban?  And since the time you were deported and putting a life time ban on your pasport did you undergone for an eye scan before you left the country?  And when you came back in Dubai did they done again for your eye scan at the airport?

Kindly share something for us so we know what to do and in this little way you can help us a lot.

Thanks and More power,

I had a permanent ban which has now been removed after the letter from DOH was submitted to Immigration. The letter was submitted around 19th Oct and the Ban was removed only yesterday.

Suggest you pursue with the immigration. They are now removing permanent bans.

Once the same is removed you can re apply for visa after 3 days.

Hope all goes well with my visa.

Now its time to pay it forward... This blog has played a vital role in my battle to have my wife's ban lifted and secure her a resident visa in Dubai. God is truly amazing! I bring back all the Glory and Honor to HIM for His faithfullness and perfect plan for me and my family.

Just like most of you guys, my wife has been deported early this year due to hepatitis B, when her resident visa was cancelled, it was explicitly specified that she has permanet ban. Good thing that in August this year, it has been published that there is a new law to remove Hepatitis B as medical requirement for resident visa for housewives. I wish to share with the procedures how I was able to lift the ban of my wife and now she is back to Dubai, with her resident visa stamped in her passport.
God is Good =)

(1)Write a letter to the Director of DNRD, requesting to remove the ban of your wife, since there is a new law to remove hepa B in medical fitness exam for housewives. Please have it translated to Arabic.

(2) Go to the medical fitness centre where your wife had the 2nd test for Hepa b. In my case, I went to Al Muhaisnah, section 4, I spoke directly to the director, asked her to provide a certification addressed to DNRD to remove the ban for my wife since there is a new law. She was kind enough to provide the letter the same day.You just need to tell her that you need the letter within the day =)

(3)Go to DNRD, section 3, counter 27 this is the blacklist section, just submit your wife's passport copy, letter to lift the ban and certification from Al muhaisnah. Look for Mr Khalid. Tell him that you are requesting to lift the ban of your wife. He is a good man and will be kind enough to assist you. You just need to be persistent.

Hope the above helps.. keep on praying.. God is too Good to be unkind and God is too wise to be mistaken.

God Bless!

Hi Jerin

What documents did you submit along with the letter from DHA?
Did you go to section 15 where you submitted letter previously?
Please update.

thanks.

jerin_cutie

Hi Ritz,

I submitted only the copy of the letter from DHA and passport copy of my husband. I gave him also the copy of the previous medical certificate (Unfit to work) because the visa number of his employment is there on the medical certificate.

While he is doing on the system he ask me some questions if my husband done an eye scan and i told him yes.  After he finished asking he printed out 3 pages from the system but he did not inform me what is that.  He put together all documents and he got my number and he told me nextweek the immigration will call me for any info.

I hope ritz that they will treat everything fairly so we can sort out also our problem same like the other member of this blog who succesfully solve the matter like vincyd and annefrank.

God will help us and have mercy on us also.  Hope for the goodnews nextweek and lets continue to pray for this.

Hi members,

this is just to give an update to my last post.

As said before I am a new comer in Dubai.
I had my medical check up this week in Bahara hospital.

When I got there the hospital attached a piece of paper on the front cover of my file. On that piece of paper there were four medical tests listed (X-ray scan, HIV, HepB and HepC). The doctor
only ticked X-ray scan and HIV with her pen. I do not know what does that mean.

I did not ask her whether HepB was tested since I thought it was inappropriate.

Inchallah my result will come out next week and I will find out all about it.

Please remember me in your prayers

tania pk

Hi All,
By the grace of Almighty Allah , I got my medical cleared  and Inshallah will get my visa stamped soon.. It states that; HBV is not a part of medical test for house wives.
Alhamdolillah ,, I am so thanfkul to Allah ,, and you all for the the support and help you guys extended to me.

Hi Folks,

Apologies for the silence.

Just to update you all, i have received my residence visa. Got my medicals done. JAFZA had clearly confirmed that they do not test HBV. Also i got my visa so it is a fact that even if they do visa is not stopped

I also have brought my wife and children and all visas are stamped.

Jerin - With regards to Eye Scan i had done it whilst i came initially in August and again this time. There is no issue to get it done twice. Further immigration office was surprised why i stayed in Dubai for only 10 days in August although i came on work visa and why was it cancelled.....

Brgds,

Congrats Vincy for your successful removal of ban and coming back to UAE. Just for more clarification, when you left the country in August when you canceled your visa did they do your eye scanning and where it was done?
    Please update us.

Hi,

I'm a hepa B carrier on a medication of anti-viral drugs in my home country.
Recently I got offered a job in Dubai. Thanks to a new law, it seems possible to work in there.
However, I was wondering what kind of anti-viral drugs for Hepa B are available in Dubai, so that I can keep being on the right medication if needed.
I understand there should be no one who knows it because any one with Hepa B as an expat has not been allowed to live in Dubai recently.
But still i hope there might be a someone who can answer my question.

Thanks

Hi,
I am new to this blog, i need ur urgent help.
I am an engineer and got a job in media city 3 years back, i worked there 2 years and nothing bad had happened, but as i got a 2nd job, my visa was rejected saying i am Hepatitis B carrier,
Now as the rule has been changed and i got a new job, i did'nt say the exact reason of my 2nd job's left to my new employeer.
Now the new employeer is saying to give hime the MOI cancellation recept.
My question is , Does the employeer will know the reason of my job left?
Can there be any sort of complications?

Hi Vincyd,

I'm so happy for you.  I just want to clarify this matter, you were deported last August and you went back to your home country. Who arrange everything on your behalf to remove your ban while you were in your home country?

Thanks,
Jerin

Brgds,
Vincy

Dear PERDANASISA,

Do you know any oil and gas company which operates in uae and don't have medical screening for Hepatitus-b or they don't consider hepatitus-b healthy carrier as unfit or deport.
In other words they are not like ADNOC and they follow the new government procedure for medical.

Waiting for your response.

Saleem

So far it is only an issue with ADNOC and its subsidiaries, all other companies will go with the country residence law.

Hi Perdanasiswa,

I have been following your posts, but I am not sure whether you live in UAE or not and your profile does not indicate that.

How do you know much about ADNOC? Are you 100% sure that they do not accept Hepatitis B carriers? I am currently in UAE and got an offer from them (clerical/administrative position), but I am HBV carrier, what do you advise me to do?

Please reply asap.

Thank you in advance.
