I´m really worried about those 4 states reopening business. I can imagine truckloads of bodies hauled by the army. I´m now on quarantine but I can vividly see myself going out to buy the needs of other people as I´m the only runner. I might even end up as their caregiver if triage and hospitals are full and with the lack of ventilators, personnel and all, that´s probably gonna happen.

I hope not.

Majority of COVID-19 patients will need a ventilator since most will develop moderate pneumonia. They stay under the ventilator for 20-30 days so it´s not like a mild cold as Bolsonaro described. This is a serious matter. If you have asthma you should avoid the Coronavirus at all costs. It would be very life threatening since pneumonia triggers bronchospasm/asthma itself.

That´s kinda late already. That´s not a Master Limited Partnership (MLP) by  any chance like an oil pipeline or midstream partners that needs to issue a K1? Those are the ones that are usually late
and people who owns those shares usually apply for filing extension.

But the filing is already extended up to July 15 due to the Coronavirus.

Health Alert to U.S. Citizens:  IRS COVID-19 Economic Impact Payments
April 1, 2020
The Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service announced on March 30, 2020 that distribution of economic impact payments will begin in the next three weeks and will be distributed automatically, with no action required for most people. However, some seniors and others who typically do not file returns will need to submit a simple tax return to receive the stimulus payment.

Who is eligible for the economic impact payment?
Tax filers with adjusted gross income up to $75,000 for individuals and up to $150,000 for married couples filing joint returns will receive the full payment. For filers with income above those amounts, the payment amount is reduced by $5 for each $100 above the $75,000/$150,000 thresholds. Single filers with income exceeding $99,000 and $198,000 for joint filers with no children are not eligible.



Eligible taxpayers who filed tax returns for either 2019 or 2018 will automatically receive an economic impact payment of up to $1,200 for individuals or $2,400 for married couples. Parents also receive $500 for each qualifying child.



For more information, please go to IRS’ Economic Impact Payments website.  No action needed by most people at this time.

Saw a notice from CNN, payments may begin in "May"   not in April.....don't shoot the messenger

Democratic lawmakers sent a letter to Treasury Wednesday to send the stimulus payment automatically to SS recipients by direct deposit on record.

So it will be done. For others, there will also be a web-based portal to inform the IRS of your bank

We're up to 200 cases in Amazonas, that seem to be limited to Manaus and cities with land connections to Manaus.   Hospitals are in good shape, and the state government seems to be doing and saying the right things; the federal government is pretty much invisible:  I hope they're doing better in the South.

I'm very concerned that the quarantine seems to be relaxing spontaneously, with more street traffic every day, even though we're still far from containing this thing.  Fingers crossed that the state can continue keeping the riverboats in port:  if the virus gets a foothold in the river towns that are only accessible by water, there will be no stopping it.

Created to receive complaints from the population about establishments and people who are violating coronavirus prevention measures, Central 199, the Civil Defense of Foz do Iguaçu, received more than 3,000 calls in 15 days of operation.

Of this amount, 862 calls were complaints regarding the non-compliance with Decree No. 27,994, which determines the closing of non-essential trade. The other connections were related to civil defense decrees or actions.

Foz has so far 13 confirmed cases. Only 1 in hospital isolation, all others self quarantine and have monitors showing location. No deaths to date.

Meanwhile, according to today's Estado de São Paulo, Bolsonaro is trashing the governors who have closed their states down, pushing for stores to start opening again next week, accusing his Minister of Heath of "lack of humility" for contradicting his lies, and hinting that the Minister just might be fired. 
Washington isn't the only capital in the Western Hemisphere where most of the adults seem to have left the room.

State Dept not issuing new passports unless in emergencies. My passport expires this month but I´m not going to POA to renew even if allowed. Not now. I´m waiting for a few months when this is over.

if I read this right if one has a Direct Deposit on File with the IRS then they should Recieve the payment...

in my case I did recieve a DD for 2018, the dilemma is I also have Amended Returns pending...So I wonder how I will fall out for the Amended are mailed....

Renewed mines in November,  like it's worth something now...I do have my Birth Certificate just in case..lol..

So last night I am shopping, and this child about 16 years old sneezes into her hands, okay , then there are two occupied abandoned shopping carts, the two owners of the carts left them while they went to pick up small items for the clerk was having problems with the order in front, this child moves both carts with her sneezed hand and I be like omgawd, the two unsuspecting cart owners returned and handled the carts as the child , please practice sneezing etiquette and if all fails go wash your dayuuuummmm hands, nothing irks me more than to think you ain't washed ones hands and hand washing in Brasil Exists now ..sshhhiish. We had a Family Virtual Happy Hour  tonight, 7-10 PM.  About 15 locations,  30-40 people participating.   We do these things anyway,  but quarantine sure makes scheduling easier!

I can see why, the price for a domestic flights is crazy.Essential to travel to SP?????????? Not me.
Only had 3 flights in and out of here Saturday.
What's worse the falls has no water. Having storms today, but need NE to get a lot of rain.
We had 3 suicides here. 1 hanging and 2 drownings in the Parana river.
People can not get refunds from airlines and need the money. If flying get refundable tickets.

Yes the Price gouging has began and herein is ridiculous,  the USA Carriers are being leniant on New Travel Dates and maybe refunds, what irked my arse is Eggs are up here 4r..toady people....
