Investing money in Sri Lanka

Hi guys,

I am going to get some money from sale of land. It will be a few millions rupees. I am seeking your advice on how this amount should be spread into various banks and finance companies (or other?) to get maximum return. I am not interested in re-investing in property!

Any advice or info. would be welcome. Thank you.

I myself found this website quite informative: https://www.five.lk/fixed-deposits/ It compares most banks' rates.

According to this, Cargills bank offer the best in all categories.

It started operating only in 2014. Is it a bank that will exist for a long time?
