Hi, we are moving to KL in July this year. Need help to find the right school for my 9 and 7 year olds. We are looking for a school which has expat as well as local children and the teaching methodology is global. I have checked out schools online but it is confusing. Our budget is 90,000 RM per annum for both children put together. Plus of course the one time charges this year. Please help.

Based on your budget I'd guess that you will be fine. International schools have children from all different countries, so not sure why one of your criteria is that they should have local children. Why don't you email the schools and ask them their policy on that matter?

It might be more important to know exactly where you will be working and then deciding where you will live and which international schools are closest since rush hour traffic can be a problem in KL.

You budget needs to double at least!

15,000 rm per term per kid gets you a  budget Malaysian "international" school (all Malaysian students). You need to spend at least twice that much for an a decent  school.
