IPA approved of new company and EP renewal simultaneously

Hi,
I have my IPA approved recently from a new company I am supposed to join. Bt due to COVID situation now I am deciding whether it will be right to join or not. unfortunately my current company wants to apply for my EP renewal which is too early and I didn't expect at this time. shall I process my EP renewal? Will it be a problem as mom knows I have IPA approved then why ep renewal is coming? Will my current company get to know that I have IPA of another company while applying for renewal?

Early application for renewal is a wise decision in the current situation.
Whether an existing IPA prevents a renewal of the old pass is an interesting question - please come back and post your findings for the benefit of future readers!
Your current company can always see (if they bother to check - and I know that many companies do) if you have any other work pass application ongoing. They cannot see, however, for which job at which employer.

Here are the findings for my case-
1. Current company can see that you have other EP application.
2. Current company cannot renew until the currently approved application is canceled out by the new company.
We had to choose either go for the new job for which EP was approved. And if we have to stay in the current one then get the new company's EP cancelled and then start the current company EP Renewal process.
