Hi,

I'm a foreigner currently on an EP here in Malaysia. I plan to resign from my job on 1st June 2020 and will serve a 3 months notice which my last date of employment would be on 31st August 2020. I will be leaving Malaysia for good in sha Allah.

1) How long will I be able to stay in Malaysia after my last day of work on 31st August 2020?

2) When will my EP cancellation start processing?

3) How long is the tax clearance process? And what are the the documents/tasks I need to prepare/do for tax clearance?

4) I heard the employer will hold on to my final month's salary. Is this true? And if yes, how long will it take for my employer to release my final month's salary after tax clearance?

Thank you.
